Patient Number 9 marked the first official Ozzy Osbourne Day on 22 July 2026 and the beginning of a beer series celebrating the man who gave the world heavy metal.
Now, Prince of Darkness Stout joins the line-up.
Two permanent beers. Two different sides of Ozzy’s extraordinary legacy. Patient Number 9 Golden Ale was the first beer in the line-up, named after Ozzy’s final Grammy-winning album, while Prince of Darkness Stout embraces the icon he became.
Brewed by Hobsons Brewery, each beer is a tribute to Ozzy, his legacy and the region that forged him.

A pitch-black stout celebrating the extraordinary life and legacy of Ozzy Osbourne. Dark, rich and full-bodied, with roasted coffee, cacao and molasses at its heart. A fitting tribute to the man, the music and the one and only Prince of Darkness.
Prince of Darkness Keg
A smooth nitro pour with cascading bubbles that settle into a creamy finish, rounding off the dark, rich body. Roasted coffee, cacao and molasses run through this pitch-black stout, brewed in tribute to the one and only Prince of Darkness.

A golden bottle conditioned ale, this 4.3% ABV brew delivers light floral aromas with subtle citrus notes. Best enjoyed paired with a Bats Head.
Prince of Darkness Stout – 500ml Bottle Conditioned Ale | 4.2% ABV
Prince of Darkness Stout joins the official Ozzy Osbourne beer line-up, celebrating the extraordinary legacy of the icon known around the world as the Prince of Darkness.
A pitch-black stout, this 4.2% ABV brew delivers roasted coffee and cacao aromas with rich notes of Arabica coffee, molasses and cacao. Best enjoyed paired with Ozzy’s favourite, a Chipotle burrito.
