If you’re looking for something festive, fun, and brilliantly local this December, the Hobsons Reindeer Run is officially here! We’ve turned 9 amazing pubs (and 3 cosy at-home moments) into a full Christmas scavenger hunt, complete with cryptic clues, prizes, and plenty of Hobsons cheer.

The rules are simple:

• Visit the locations

• Take the photos

• Tag @hobsonsbrewery and the pub

• Use the hashtag #ReindeerRun

• Email all your photos by 27th December

• Collect your prizes in January at your nominated pub

Here’s everything you need to take on the run… and win big!

🔍 The Clues

Below are all 12 clues exactly as they appear in the trail materials. Each one leads you to a task, a pint, a moment to snap — and ultimately, your rewards.

CLUE 1

“Tip your hat where good company lands,
A pint that cries aloud in the Town’s hands.
A crusty bite to seal the plan.
Find the Bird where bowler meets man.”
(Hint: You’ll need a bowler hat, a pint of Town Crier, and a crusty cob.)

“One by one, the doors swing wide,
A Town Crier waits with festive pride.
Pop the cap and pour it true,
Share your cheer, the pint’s on you.”
(Hint: Take a picture with your pint of TC and your Hobsons Advent Calendar.)

The wall of honour waits you there.”
(Hint: Buy a Hobsons, grab a cob, and take your photo in front of the war memorial wall.)

A Zephyr’s breeze and board games cheer,
Your festive find is waiting here.”
(Hint: Fire, board games, and Zephyr await you at Cleobury’s Fountain.)

“Where whistles blow and steam clouds curl,
Find the pint that makes the flags unfurl.
Snap your shot by iron and rail,
A Hobsons cheers will never fail.”
(Hint: Steam trains and a Hobsons pint — that’s your track to victory.)

Christmas trees put clues to the test.
Raise a Town Crier, bold and golden,
King and Castle’s a place to beholden.”
(Hint: A pint of TC and a photo by the Christmas trees!)

By the fire’s glow where the Green Hop flows.
Raise a glass, your feet the proof —
Let Hobsons hops raise the roof!”
(Hint: Take a photo in your Hobsons socks drinking a bottle of Green Hop.)

Chalk your cue and test your aim.
Seek a pint both dark and grand,
The Talbot’s where you’ll make your stand.”
(Hint: Champion Mild and a game of pool — show us your best shot!)

With Town Crier pint in hand.
A crusty cob will see you through,
This anchored stop’s awaiting you.”
(Hint: Anchor yourself with a pint and a cob.)

You earn more prizes as you complete more challenges, all the way up to the full merch bundle and entry to win 12 months of Hobsons beer if you complete all 12 tasks.

Email all your photos and details by 27th December. Prizes will be dropped off at your nominated pub in January. Please include the pub you wish to nominate in the email. 
It must be a location on the scavenger hunt!
