With the colder months coming in, the fruity warmth of Old Henry has been a three county tradition for real cockle warming for some years.  Now the secret’s out and Old Henry, our venerable porter and tribute to the spirit of the Guv’nor, has scooped yet another award for its full-mouthed flavour.  At 5.2% this is no lightweight and it really does ‘drink its weight’,  but for a dark cold night  there’s nothing like it;   a cold night, a brisk walk to the pub,  Old Henry by an open fire  – it’s a great way to reflect on the state of true contentment.
